Built for the trades.

Contractor website design that works as hard as you do.

A clean, fast site that looks professional, gets found and sends leads straight to your inbox.

You own your domain, your content and your contact form. Nothing is tied to a platform you don't control. Website builds start at $1,500, with hosting from $45/month.

What contractors actually need from a website

Most contractor businesses run on referrals and reputation. A website doesn't replace that. It backs it up. When someone hears your name and looks you up, your site should confirm they're in good hands, load quickly and make it easy to reach you.

A lot of business owners end up paying monthly for a platform they don't fully control. If you ever want to leave, move hosts or hand the site to someone else, you find out how little you actually own.

Contact forms are the other quiet problem. Most pass through third-party systems. When something breaks, you don't always know. Leads just stop arriving. I monitor form delivery so you don't have to wonder.

What You Get

It loads fast. Every time.

Sites score 95–99 on Google's PageSpeed test for mobile. Not because I chase the score, but because there's nothing extra loading: no plugins slowing things down, no server that has to spin up before your homepage loads.

Leads go straight to your inbox.

Contact forms route directly to your email. No third-party CRM. No database of leads sitting somewhere else. I check that it's working, so you know every submission is getting through.

You own it. All of it.

Your domain is yours. Your code is yours. If you ever leave, you get a full copy of the site to take with you. Nothing is locked to a platform, a login or a monthly subscription.

Nothing to patch. Nothing to break.

No WordPress, no plugins, no software updates to chase. The site runs on Cloudflare's network in a simpler setup that stays stable for years.

Trades I serve

This stack works for any trade running on local reputation and inbound calls. Electricians and plumbers who need a site that loads before the customer picks up the phone. HVAC companies competing in crowded local search results. Roofers who need to show up after the next hailstorm. Landscapers and lawn care operators who want a professional presence without paying agency prices. Painters, drywall contractors and home services businesses of every kind. If you do the work and need people to find you, this is built for that.

North of Right is based in Cottage Grove and works with contractors across the east metro: Woodbury, Oakdale, Lake Elmo, Stillwater, White Bear Lake, Maplewood, Newport and Hastings, along with the wider Twin Cities.

How it works

1

Send me your info

Share your existing site if you have one, your services, your service area and how you want people to reach you. That's it.

2

I build it

I build your site to be fast and secure, running on Cloudflare. You review it, I make changes and you approve it.

3

You own it. I keep it running.

The domain and code are yours from day one. I handle hosting, monitoring and small updates on an ongoing plan so you don't have to think about it.

Pricing

A website build is a flat $1,500. That covers five pages, a contact form I test and confirm works, redirects from your old site and two rounds of changes.

After that, hosting and upkeep is $45/month. That covers hosting on Cloudflare, the secure lock icon with no browser warnings, uptime monitoring, checks that your contact form is delivering leads and small updates each quarter. Bigger work is quoted separately.

Logmark Clearing runs on this same setup. It's fast and clean, with nothing extra weighing it down. That's what $45/month buys, out in the real world.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to know anything technical?

No. You send your info, your existing site if you have one and your contact email. I handle everything: building it, launching it and keeping it running. You review and approve.

What happens to my site if I stop paying?

You keep everything. Your domain is yours. I hand over a full copy of the site.

Can you move my existing site over?

Yes. If you're on Squarespace, Wix, GoDaddy or WordPress, I move your content over to a clean, fast new site. Your page addresses stay the same, so you don't lose your spot in search results.

How do you handle contact forms?

Forms go straight to your email. Nothing gets routed through a third-party system or stored in some database you don't have access to. I also keep an eye on delivery, so you know leads are actually arriving.

What does "minor content updates" mean?

Text changes, phone number or address updates, adding a photo, updating service descriptions. These are the small edits that come up regularly. New pages or bigger additions are quoted separately.
